Privacy Policy

Overview

SocialQd (“SocialQd”, “we”, “us”), a product operated by Klvr Digital, helps you plan, publish and measure social media content across multiple platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SocialQd you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, password (stored hashed), time zone and profile picture.
• Workspace & content — the posts, captions, media, comments, schedules and reports you create in SocialQd.
• Connected social accounts — the access tokens and basic profile details (handle, page/channel name, avatar) returned when you authorize a platform. See Connected accounts & tokens.
• Usage & device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps, used to operate and secure the service.
• Billing data — if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by our payment processor; we receive limited details (plan, status, last four digits) and never store full card numbers.
• Affiliate & referral data — if you join the affiliate program or arrive via a referral link, we record the referral, clicks and payout details you provide.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain and improve the service — scheduling, publishing, analytics and support.
• To publish your content to the platforms you connect, on your instruction.
• To secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates.
• To process subscriptions and affiliate payouts.

We do not sell your personal information.

Connected social accounts & tokens

SocialQd uses each platform’s official API only — we never scrape or automate browsers. When you connect an account, the platform returns an access token that lets SocialQd act on your behalf within the scopes you approve (for example, publishing a post or reading comments). These tokens are encrypted at rest and are never displayed in full or shared. You can disconnect an account at any time, which revokes SocialQd’s access going forward.

Cookies & tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. If you visit through an affiliate referral link, we store a referral cookie so the referring affiliate can be credited if you sign up. Our built-in link tracker counts clicks for your own posts and hashes IP addresses rather than storing them in the clear; click tracking can be disabled per workspace.

How we share information

• Social platforms — content and requests you direct to the networks you connect (X, Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Bluesky, etc.).
• Service providers — infrastructure, email and payment partners who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of SocialQd and its users.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Data security

OAuth tokens and affiliate payout credentials are encrypted at rest; passwords are hashed; sessions use secure, http-only cookies; sensitive actions are CSRF-protected and rate-limited; and an audit log records key account activity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete content, disconnect accounts, or delete a workspace at any time. When you close your account we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most data directly in the app (profile, connected accounts, workspaces) or contact us to make a request. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

Children’s privacy

SocialQd is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
